We are Kaleigh and Matt, two mated humans from Virginia, U.S.A., and we are roaming around in Costa Rica for a few months for no explicit reason. We speak about as much Spanish as a native 10-year-old C student who for some reason has at his disposal a wealth of long, latin-based cognates.
Rather than attempt a boring pretense of authority or cultural expertise, we write this blog in the spirit of openly admitting that we are tourists and hereby attempt to own that fact rather than shy away from it. However, we will never wear socks with sandals or take photographs with destitute children. That is our promise to you.
